This is the official blog space for the Dietrechsen family, something I hope to give me son when he grows up to let him know what he makes me feel every time I look at his mother while she is pregnant.

I have been married for almost two years, and admittedly they were the best two years of my life, until now...My wife, Maryke is four and a half month pregnant!!!

I look at her every morning and think, WOW, she is the most beautiful thing on God's planet!

Now with her belly swelling and her moods swinging she is the pinnacle of women in the world, she is the reason that God made women.

As for the little one growing in her tummy, I have so much love for him and I have only seen him in a two dimensional scan! How is that possible. If I think of the years of pleasure, heartache and laughter he is going to provide and can not wait for his arrival. The arrival of Jano Dietrechsen.

Jano is going to be the best and all sports, debate champion, chess champion and all round academic fundi! Is this to much to ask of young Jano, of course it is, but I am his father, and the proudest one on the planet.

So this is the first post in the Dietrechsen lineage...may it not be the last!!!
